All About Richard:

Richard was an Inspirational character who had many interest and hobbies, which included Ten Tors (a 35 mile trek across Dartmoor),playing rugby in which he played for Teignmouth RFC and most memorable was the Scouts in which Richard was fortunate enough to attend the World Scout Jamboree, despite suffering with his illness. Richard was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2006 and underwent chemotherapy, but after 4 sessions his family were told that the cancer could not be cured. Richard underwent a further 22 sessions as well as radiotherapy, and drug trials.During all of this Richard never complained and packed his short life full of the things he enjoyed and will always be remembered for it.

About Richard's Wish
Richard's Wish is a local charity in Dawlish, Devon UK set up in memory of Richard Cridge. It was set up by his family. Our aim is to raise the much needed funds to provide a child, teenager or young adult undergoing treatment for cancer with a wish. This wish can be anything they want and Richard's Wish will do their absolute best to make this wish come true. We operate within Devon.

We have just finished a very big project. We donated £10,000 to Bramble ward to re-vamp two of their rooms, it took a long time but worth the wait. To read more about it and see photos go to latest projects.

Last year we rasied £20,000 for another re-vamp at Exeter hospital, plans are under way to give them a lovely new day case unit.

Richard's Wish is very honored to be a part of the Exeter Foundation. The Exeter Chiefs meant so much to Richard. We thank them so much for all of their support. The foundation organised collection days for selected charities and at the end of the year it is shared out. We have been able to make so many wishes come true with the thanks to Exeter Foundation.  Please use the link to view their website.   http://www.exeterfoundation.org.uk/
